Woo hoo! I'm 2.6 pounds lighter since last Satuday!
I won't mention the bagel sandwich I ate after weigh-in. Or the McDonalds I had for dinner.
But I tracked and dipped into few of the previously unused "bonus" points.
And I bought a kettlebell. I think I will return it for a heavier one, but the work out was good and it's supposed to shred fat - if I use it, of course.
Oh, and Thursday night? Five miles on the treadmill in about 54 minutes. Pretty darn good, if I say so myself.
Today? Off to the grocery store to stock up on, well, food, and low pointsplus snacks. Wish me luck. Except no one else reads. So...

Success!
Patti, my co-worker, "brought drugs into the house!" She brought a Panera danish into the media workroom. Fortunately, it was a raisin, apple thingy and I decided I could pass it up. It took a lot, a lot of willpower. Well, maybe just plain-old willpower.
Anyway, the "last week me" would have nibbled it to oblivion. The "this week me" didn't eat any. Raisins are easy to pass up... but the apple in the middle mmmmmmmmmm.
But I did it! I avoided it!
And at 8 pm, I still have like 8 points left. I hope to leave them alone and expedite the melting...

11/29/10
Yesterday was a pretty good day - diet-wise. I was ravenous at work and didn't bring enough to eat. Note to self: figure out healthy snacks and bring them!
My successes include: not eating the spice cake Em brought in - even though I was super dooper hungry! I was hungry at bed time, so I went to bed!
Failures include: snacking on Cheese Nips while making the boys' lunches - and NOT tracking them. Eating my favorite (fattening) snack that will remain mentionless but carries about 6 p.p. But, I had 14 activity points so I figured I still ended the day on a good note!
Today... no exercise yet. If I'm running out of points (or run out) then I will hit the gym tonight. I should probably anyway... but at some point I need to do Christmas cards, lesson plans, play with the children, clean the house, shave my legs, ya know, the normal stuff.

The Plan
I have tried to lose weight many times. I have tried different plans and Weight Watchers somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 times. I exercise at least 3 times a week - I jog about 5 miles on Wednesdays and do a program called Insanity on Monday and Friday. I would like to run another marathon, but I can't seem to get motivated to run more often - that and the hamstring issue.
Anyway, this blog is a place for me to keep track of my weightloss journey. I would like to lose 40 pounds. But I'm not sure if that is even possible.
I am following Weight Watchers and I know the success is in tracking what I stuff in my face. Especially since stuffing my face seems to be my biggest problem!
Weight Watchers just introduced their new program: Points Plus. So far, I've had 13 points - and that's a lot for breakfast, but I was famished from the whole workout thing.
Successes: Mark bought ice cream. Fortunately, he bought butter pecan and that is not my favorite. So, I didn't eat any! Yea me!!
